Join our team as a Junior Draftsperson!

DOF is seeking a motivated Junior Draftsperson to join our Engineering & Drafting team in the Perth CBD.

Reporting to the Lead Draftsperson, you will have the opportunity to build your career while contributing to complex and rewarding projects across the offshore and subsea industry. This role is ideal for an early-career draftsperson looking to gain hands-on experience, develop technical capability and learn from experienced professionals within a global organisation.

As a Junior Draftsperson, you will support our engineering, tendering, and project teams by producing high-quality technical drawings and design documentation across a range of offshore and subsea work scopes.

Working under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will:

  • Prepare and maintain 2D technical drawings and documentation.
  • Develop storyboards and drafting packages to a high professional standard.
  • Liaise with engineers and project stakeholders to obtain design information.
  • Ensure drawings comply with relevant drafting standards and project requirements.
  • Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and quality.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering, Technical Drafting, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
  • Experience with Autodesk Vault (Desirable).
  • Ability to produce drawings in accordance with relevant drafting standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to review drawings for compliance and accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and project teams.
