About the role
As a Junior Designer at Chowdeck, you will support the brand and marketing team's growing design needs. This is a hands-on execution role ideal for someone early in their design career who is eager to learn, execute consistently, and grow within a fast-paced consumer tech company. You will work closely with the Brand Design team to help bring campaigns and content to life, with strong exposure to real campaigns, products, and large-scale brand work.
You'll be required to:
- Implement Chowdeck's brand identity, style guides, and visual standards consistently across all design outputs.
- Assist the Brand Designer and Physical Designer with day-to-day design tasks and campaign execution.
- Create simple, on-brand designs for social media posts, in-app banners, marketing assets, and internal presentations.
- Adapt and implement templates created by senior designers for different formats, platforms, and sizes.
- Help maintain and organise the digital asset library, ensuring files are properly named, versioned, and easy for the team to access.
- Support the design team in meeting deadlines for campaigns and product launches.
- Ensure brand consistency across all design tasks, taking feedback constructively and applying revisions efficiently.
You're perfect for the role if you:
- have basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Illustrator) and Figma.
- have a solid understanding of fundamental design principles — layout, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy.
- are able to adapt designs for different platforms, formats, and sizes.
- have strong attention to detail and good time management and organisational skills.
- can follow instructions, execute briefs accurately, and ask questions when clarity is needed.
- are comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly.
- are willing to learn and improve continuously.
- have a familiarity with designing for social media platforms and an interest in branding, marketing, or consumer tech.
Beyond the paycheck, Chowdeck provides:
