The Junior Designer role supports the creative team in producing compelling and brand-aligned work. This position requires a well-rounded designer who can balance creativity with a meticulous attention to detail. The role provides hands-on experience in all stages of the design process, from initial concept to final delivery and involves close collaboration with designers and art directors to execute creative visions across print, digital, social, and environmental platformsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Translate creative briefs into visual concepts using mood boards, sketches, layouts, mockups, and presentation decks.
- Support the design team in the production of accurate and consistent design work, including social media graphics, event collateral, presentations, signage, and promotional materials.
- Prepare and package design files for production, ensuring technical accuracy across all platforms.
- Work with designers, art directors, and other teams to ensure designs align with the creative vision and brand identity.
- Actively participate in creative reviews, providing ideas and input while learning from senior designers.
- Maintain organized file management to ensure assets are easily accessible.
Other Responsibilities:
- Conduct image sourcing, light retouching, and basic photo editing to support project needs.
- Exhibit flexibility and strong time management skills, balancing competing priorities to deliver accurate, high-quality work on time.
- Learn and apply feedback constructively to refine designs and achieve the most effective results.
- Work comfortably with a broad spectrum of entertainment industry content, which may include mature themes and diverse subject matter.
- Stay curious about design trends, tools, and best practices to inspire creative solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Competencies:
- Developing visual communication and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective time management and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and proactive in supporting the team.
Education and/or Experience:
- 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience.
- A portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of design principles and a passion for design, which may include student or personal projects.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- N/A
Computer/Equipment Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) on a Mac OS platform.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint) and Apple Keynote is a plus.
- Desired Skills (But Not Required): Experience with motion graphics or project management tools.
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
This role primarily operates in an office setting. It requires regular use of computer systems for data entry and communication, often while on the phone. Occasional bending, reaching, kneeling, or lifting up to 30 pounds may be necessary.
