Equifax is looking for a Data Scientist to join our world-class Data and Analytics Center of Excellence (D&A COE). In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to use cutting edge cloud technology and develop various analytics related AI and ML solutions.
This role will be working on our Equifax Credit Score and Attribute platform.
Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week.
This role will work the required onsite days at our Equifax office in Alpharetta, GA.
This position is only open to US Citizens and Green Card Holders.

What you will do

Collaborate with customers and key stakeholders on initiating ideas, performing design, analysis and process improvement.

Develop and deploy AI and ML solutions on Google Cloud Platforms.

Utilize massive data sources to craft business insights and features for innovative solutions.

Automate data quality and integrity monitoring on solutions and processes.

Invent and integrate data and model visualizations for big data machine learning models.

Understand diverse data sources, structured and unstructured.
-
Analyzes discrete sets of information in routine situations.
-
Uses existing procedures to make routine decisions.

Organizes own work, following established processes or work plans and taking direction from others.
What experience you will need
-
Less than 2 years of experience with programming and data analysis.

M.S. or higher degree required in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering with a focus on machine learning coursework.

Python and SQL coding skills.
What could set you apart
-
MS degree (2-year program and thesis) in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or similar quantitative field.

Graduate coursework in probability and statistics.

Exposure to a public cloud platform - GCP is preferred.

Analytical experience or internships in financial services, insurance, or marketing.

Experience with Neural Networks, Gradient Boosted Machines, and Random Forests algorithms.

Experience with NLP or Unstructured Data.
