Junior Data Engineer Intern

As an intern, you will contribute to preparing and structuring large, real-world multimodal clinical datasets within SOPHiA GENETICS Data Hub. These datasets will be crucial for helping to drive impactful clinical insights in oncology research.

You will be involved in: 

• Preparing and harmonising multicentric oncology cohorts, ensuring data consistency for research use. 

• Mining datasets and selecting key variables for descriptive analysis and data flowchart design. 

• Structuring and integrating multimodal data (clinical and imaging) into SOPHiA GENETICS Data Hub. 

• Collaboration with various teams to ensure the smooth flow and availability of harmonized datasets for research. 

The experience you bring: 

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Engineering or a related field. 
• Proficiency in Python.

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. 

• Ability to manage priorities effectively. 

• A team player who collaborates well with others, while also able to work independently when necessary.

The plus that would be appreciated:

• Experience with DataBricks.
• Basic knowledge of Biostatistics.
