Description:
The analyst will be part of the M&A team dedicated to Food & Agriculture coverage. The analyst will provide active support during the origination stages which includes the preparation of pitch books market and company analysis; and also take an active role in the execution process of M&A transactions by preparing transaction-related materials, valuation and financial analysis using different methodologies and supporting the transaction organization and coordination.
Main Activities:
- Participate and contribute to preparation of marketing materials and pitch books with accuracy and attention to detail;
- Provide assistance in developing industry and sector analysis;
- Prepare and keep up-to-date trading comparable and transaction comparable for assigned sectors;
- Develop and master analytical skills with a focus on valuation/modelling skills;
- Support the M&A team on daily routines: preparation of company profiles, institutional presentations, market and industry research, execution of ongoing projects;
- Assist senior team on client coverage initiatives;
- Support project coordination, including client communication, coordination of advisory team externally and within the bank.
Requirements:
- Advanced excel and power point working skills;
- Corporate finance and accounting understanding;;
- Be visible at team gatherings and show initiative
- High attention to detail;
- Organization of work: Planning, structured & efficient working order, teamwork, level of professional work attitude;
- Adherence to compliance regulations;
- Takes an active role in coaching, training and reviewing interns/trainees;
- Advanced English is mandatory;
- Intermediate level of Spanish is a plus.
