Summary:
Assess the control environment of IT areas and processes, identifying risks that are not adequately controlled and proposing recommendations that allow for the improvement of processes, contributing to the improvement of the Organization's governance.
Responsibilities:
Execute IT and integrated audits, participating in audit teams and carrying out activities delegated by the auditors in charge of the work or by the Regional Audit Manager;
Identify the risks existing in the audited processes, proposing an approach to assess the adequacy of the controls implemented by management to mitigate existing risks;
Attend and lead meetings (in English) to understand workflows, processes and activities and discuss audit findings and final reports;
Document audit work in English according to the professional practices and Rabobank methodology;
Prepare audit findings, when required, draft audit reports, within the established deadlines and in accordance with the quality standards required by the audit methodology in force, for subsequent presentation and discussion with the auditees, obtaining action plans and dates for implementation of the proposed recommendations;
Monitor the implementation status of audit findings and report the status to senior management;
Involvement in new projects and initiatives carried out by the Bank in order to stay up to date on the Bank's products and processes;
Support on the preparation of audit programs, defining the audit approach to address the identified risks.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent courses;
Able to relate equally to all levels of the organization and to work in team and towards a good working environment;
Proactiveness, skepticism and independence;
Advanced English and Spanish would be a plus;
Data analytics experience is a plus;
Industry certifications is a plus (CISA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, etc.);
Planning and organizational skills;
Ability to perform work independently;
Experience with the financial industry and ability to keep on track with the industry trends.
