Job Summary 

We are currently seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team who will play a supporting role for forecasting, business planning, management reporting, and business analytics activities. Your analysis and insights will be relied upon to guide key strategic decisions and support continued growth. The role requires a candidate who can be a key business partner, can think strategically and analytically, and is able to discuss and present information and conclusions in a clear and concise manner to all levels within the organization.

Job Duties: 

  • Preparation and analysis of period end financial reports for management team - provide explanations for variances to budget and forecasts, identify trends and KPIs 
  • Participate and closely assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews 
  • Assist management teams with special projects, forecasting and budgeting processes to advance accuracy and financial accountability 
  • Provide financial analysis, reporting, and data visualization across our various business lines 
  • Analyze financial results for both internal and external use 
  • Financial reports: monthly, quarterly and annual reports, including but not limited to monthly and fiscal close, internal and external audit reporting, report preparation and distribution 
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of business reviews for multiple lines of business 
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned, working independently 

Skills and Experience 

  • 1-2 years of work experience with evidence of exceptional ability, especially within an ambiguous environment 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, or equivalent 
  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements recommended 
  • Demonstrated success driving tangible impact / influencing within a broader organization 
  • Excellent analytical skills (e.g. Microsoft Office applications, financial modeling, data visualization, etc.) 
  • Highly curious, able to propose solutions to problems 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior business leaders 
  • Highly collaborative, team oriented, and comfortable leading cross-functional projects
