The Role

Position Name: Jr. Billing Administrator
Reports to: Billing Administrator
Location/Type: UA/Contract

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Jr. Billing Administrator who is eager to learn and grow their skills in billing and finance. Join our collaborative Finance team and gain valuable hands-on experience working with billing processes and financial systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
  • Familiarity with billing software and accounting systems (e.g., ConnectWise, NetSuite) is a plus
  • Experience with team communication and collaboration platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Confluence, Slack, Teams) is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Skilled in MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new billing systems and processes
  • Experience in a Customer Support Specialist or related role is a plus but not required
  • Prior experience in a billing role is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send invoices to clients accurately and on time
  • Monitor and follow up on overdue payments
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and address client issues
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information regarding billing
  • Contact clients to resolve past-due accounts and ensure timely payments
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records
  • Assist with month-end billing-related closing activities
  • Ensure all billing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations
  • Help maintain billing process documentation and suggest improvements
  • Support other billing and finance tasks and assist with projects as assigned by the supervisor
