  • Deliver solid and maintainable software through good processes.
  • Take ownership of a whole component/product/project lifecycle, including involvement in the design phase and performing operational tasks such as deployments and monitoring.
  • Be able to popularize, defend, and reevaluate technical decisions.
  • Work with the product team to define requirements, identify risks, and draft technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with other teams on system-wide parts like platform tooling, common libraries, and integrations.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent knowledge of computer science concepts and proven experience and expertise in web application development.
  • Ability to take ownership of full features, including the design phase and operational aspects such as deployments and monitoring.

  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment, with enthusiasm for sharing knowledge, teaching, mentoring peers, and ensuring all perspectives are heard.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
  • Experience with JavaScript technologies such as Node, TypeScript, Express, React, and GraphQL is preferred.
  • Understanding of T-shaped development, with strength in either backend or frontend development and working knowledge of the other areas.
  • Experience with TypeScript services, event-driven architecture, Kubernetes, and AWS is appreciated but not required.
  • Strong track record of conscientious and thoughtful work.
  • No specific computer science degree is required. We value skills, capabilities, and approach to work over formal educational background.
