Job DescriptionRole Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Web Application Developer with strong hands-on experience in building scalable web applications, RESTful services, and scripting. The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical expertise, strong troubleshooting abilities, and experience working in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications.
Build and integrate REST Web Services and Microservices.
Develop front-end or back-end components using JavaScript, AngularJS, or Node.js.
Write and optimize SQL queries on major relational databases.
Create packages and develop automation scripts using Perl and Shell scripting.
Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and error handling across applications and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality features.
Utilize version control tools such as Git or SVN for maintaining code repositories.
Contribute to testing activities; knowledge of Blackbox and Whitebox testing is an added advantage.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in web application development
Excellent understanding of REST APIs and Microservices architecture
Proficiency in JavaScript, AngularJS, or Node.js
Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with major RDBMS
Experience in Perl and Shell scripting
Solid debugging and problem-solving skills
Experience with version control systems (Git/SVN)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
Knowledge of software testing techniques (Blackbox/Whitebox) is a plus
