The Role
About the role:• Collaborate with the team to analyze and understand the application's architecture, identify components suitable for refactoring. • Develop, maintain, and debug Java-based components in Party (customer) Batch processes. • Maintain and support Java-based integrations with Party's core system, including interfaces in Mainframe. • Support team members during security updates, modernization, migrations, and new product builds, where Java components require adjustments and/or need to be understood. • Support any work involving Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, Databases (SQL/NoSQL, AWS cloud-based etc.) • Develop and maintain RESTful API's and microservices to facilitate data exchange between systems. • Design and develop data processing framework for batch and real-time data processing using Apache spark or Kafka streams. • Implement data quality checks, data validation rules in batch and real-time processes. • Ensure thorough documentation both within the codebase and external technical artifacts.
Technical Skills:• Proficiency in Java 1.8 or above, EJB, and JSP. • Proficiency in Databases. • Proficient in version control tools (e.g. Git) and CI/CD workflows. • Strong knowledge of web application development. • Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs. • Excellent analysis, debugging, and optimization skills. • Experience in unit and integration testing. • Familiarity with AWS and Spring Boot. • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevOps tools. • Minimum 4 years of experience in building large-scale software applications.
Competencies• Own it - Exhibit an accountability-focused mindset, strong analytical skills, code documentation proficiency. • Learner - shouldn't be shy to learn any new technology or even code if needed • Solid communication skills - be able to partner directly with developers and BA in the team • Agile mindset - be able to think how we can transition the team to shift left. • Critical Thinking - ability to dive into a problem and then pull up as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:• Some exposure to Mainframe integrations. • Experience in Financial Services and/or Insurance Domain to effectively prioritize multiple tasks

In-house gymnasium / aerobics center, yoga room, indoor games room, mothers’ / wellness room, 200+ seater cafeteria, high-rise & lounge seating are some of the amenities available for the employees. The SEZ facility will also provide common creche and eat-out restaurants in the building premises, once operational.
