ABOUT THE ROLE
As an MAI IT Systems Analyst, you are a member of a highly acquisitive M&A integration team. You are responsible for the thorough discovery and documentation of existing, acquired technology systems across your assigned portfolio and collaborating with a team of business and technical experts to chart a path for full integration. The successful candidate will have broad, general IT knowledge to be able to rapidly assess new acquisition IT environments, coordinate with appropriate resources to perform any necessary remediations to bring the environment up to organizational standards, and be comfortable working in a consultative capacity to engage with an array of potential stakeholders while working towards the goal of building a comprehensive understanding of current state operations, requirements, and future integration plans.
Key Responsibilities
Discovery and Design
- Serves as technical subject matter expert of project team assigned to acquisition
- Proactively consults, communicates, and collaborates with internal clients and business units to analyze information needs and functional requirements ensuring delivery of business value within proposed solutions
- Assess/document new acquisition IT environment to determine general workstation/server/network/cloud/telephony design in support of planning for multiple, simultaneous integration projects.
- Work with a mix of acquired internal and 3rd party IT resources to implement defined organizational security standards (i.e. MFA, encryption, patching) and deploying standard tooling for ongoing monitoring, management, and preparation for IT integration.
- Assist project team with expert general IT and migration knowledge and identify potential migration challenges and pitfalls
- Analyze source and to-be IT environments and develop technical plan in accordance with HUB standard practices
- Engage internal IT Architectural and Engineering resources as needed to define integration roadmap and ultimately handoff for implementation
- Develop innovative approaches to unique conditions that present with each new acquisition
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies and common practices
- Ability to work in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Quality and Documentation
- Ensure delivery, quality, and continual improvement of the discovery and design process
- Ensure current state and proposed future state solutions are properly documented and maintained in a content management repository
- Catalog, classify, and inventory application dependencies according to repeatable methodologies
Key Success Measurements
- Quick and efficient remediation of all critical security needs after deal closure
- Clear and comprehensive documentation of acquisition technical current state and proposed future state integration plans
Qualifications
- Well-grounded in technology and has a solid understanding of common infrastructure technologies
- 8+ years of experience in technology infrastructure and application administration
- Experience working in a matrixed environment designing and delivering solutions for complex people, technology, and process integration programs
- Working knowledge with the following technology domains: network/telecom, email/messaging, Windows desktop, VDI, Exchange OnPrem/365, Azure, and AWS
- Experience with all flavors of Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Standard protocols including DNS, SMTP, NTP, NetBIOS, SMB/CIFS, RPC, HTTP, and SSL
- Deep scripting experience with Powershell or Python
- Linux and associated open source experience is a plus
- Administrative knowledge of AWS, Azure, ADFS, and Office 365 technologies
- Detail oriented with strong organization skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ, as well as the law in Colorado: The expected salary range for this position is $105K to $130K and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.
