Job DescriptionWe are looking for professional, qualified and enthusiastic candidates to take up a full-time position of a Junior IT Systems Administrator to provide daily technical support.
Office-based in Belgrade, Serbia
The scope of responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility for troubleshooting and diagnosing desktop computer systems and peripheral equipment problems
- Responsibility for IT support operations, including but not limited to receiving and tracking user requests, assigning priority and responsible persons, resolving requests and users’ notification
- Shared responsibility for installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrades of desktop computer systems and peripherals (e.g., network cards, printers, modems, mice, add-in boards, copiers, etc.)
- Responsibility for asset management of desktop computer systems (hardware and software inventories, licensing, systems decommissioning, etc.)
- Is responsible for documentation of system problems and resolutions
- Assists with providing basic IT training to PSI staff, at the discretion of Training & Resourcing
- College or University Degree preferably in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5+ years of experience in IT
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) training is a plus
- Related experience in systems and network administration
- Knowledge of basic systems administration tools and processes
- Proficiency in English and Serbian, written and spoken
- Ability to plan, multitask and work in a dynamic team environment
- Advanced communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
