Responsible for the design, operation, and further development of group-wide mailing services (Exchange / SMTP gateways). Assumes deputy ownership including security features, Purview, and automation.
Tasks:
Operation, administration, and further development of MS Exchange Online
Operation and maintenance of SMTP gateways/relays
Technical ownership for mailing services
Implementation of security and compliance requirements using EOP, E5 security and compliance features (Purview)
Automation via PowerShell to improve efficiency
Troubleshooting and 3rd-level support for Mailing / EXO / Gateways
You operate and evolve our Exchange Online environment, ensuring secure, stable and high‑performance enterprise messaging services.
Technical Mastery:
Solid expertise in Exchange Online and troubleshooting skills at L3 level
5 years or more of experience in IT Engineering or successfully completed a degree in (business) informatics, or a related discipline
Knowledge of SMTP Relay scenarios
PowerShell skills required for automation
Experience with Microsoft Purview (labels, retention, eDiscovery, retention, auditing) beneficial
