About the job
The Infrastructure service delivery role on the Nielsen Media Saudi Arabia and GCC Offices, interacting with users and regional/global teams to be able to deliver infrastructure service. Implement and follow Global infrastructure standards and rules.
Responsibilities:
Install, uninstall, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, patch, and maintain operating systems and third-party software.
Coordinate with global infrastructure teams on global image installations.
Manage the procurement process and create purchase orders.
Assist users with Google Workspace products.
Maintain an accurate hardware inventory.
Set up, reinstall, and image laptops and desktops based on planned refresh cycles and company growth plans.
Log and manage service requests using ServiceNow.
Coordinate with third-party vendors.
Adhere to Nielsen policies for laptops and desktops.
Maintain a complete inventory of mobile device distributions.
Assist with and troubleshoot mobile device issues.
Assist with and troubleshoot printer issues.
Produce hardware and software reports based on requests from Nielsen Infrastructure.
Maintain strict compliance with ticket resolution SLAs.
Install servers, storage, and network devices according to provided technical instructions.
Closely monitor the backup environment to maintain high success rates.
Deliver high-quality, monitored infrastructure support for local users while collaborating with regional and global colleagues.
Maintain operational flexibility to adapt to changing IT support needs.
Experience & Qualifications:
∙Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems.
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace.
Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.
Foundational understanding of networking concepts.
Foundational understanding of storage concepts.
Requirements
Full fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic to effectively communicate technical instructions and explanations.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
Strong communication skills with end users across all technical levels.
Customer-oriented attitude with a focus on service excellence.
Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.
Flexibility for occasional travel as required by business needs.
Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
