We are looking for a long-term IT Operations Intern to support our IT team with day-to-day operational activities and first-level IT support.
In this role, you will work closely with the IT team and gain hands-on experience in end-user support, device lifecycle management, IT asset operations, onboarding/offboarding processes and basic troubleshooting.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in IT Operations, IT Support or Infrastructure while gaining practical experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
What You Will Do
Support daily L1 IT support requests from employees and help resolve basic hardware and software issues.
Assist with the preparation, setup and delivery of laptops, monitors, peripherals and other IT equipment.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including device preparation, collection and checklist follow-up.
Keep IT asset and inventory records accurate and up to date.
Support stock tracking for laptops, accessories and other IT equipment.
Help troubleshoot basic issues related to Windows/macOS devices, peripherals, Wi-Fi, meeting room equipment and common workplace applications.
Perform the initial review of incoming IT requests and escalate more complex issues to the relevant IT team member.
Assist with device maintenance, repair and service follow-up processes.
Support the team in keeping internal IT documentation, checklists and operational records up to date.
Help with other day-to-day IT operational tasks as needed.
What You Will Need
Currently enrolled in a university program related to Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technologies, Computer Programming or a similar field.
Ability to continue the internship for at least 5–6 months.
Availability to work at least 3 days per week.
University must be able to provide mandatory internship insurance coverage during the internship period.
Good command of English with the ability to communicate verbally in English.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems and common IT troubleshooting concepts.
Interest in building a career in IT Operations, IT Support or Infrastructure.
Strong follow-up skills, attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of operational tasks.
Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on IT environment.
Previous experience through an IT Support, Help Desk, IT Operations or Infrastructure internship is a plus.
