The World Equestrian Center of Ocala is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our dynamic team. The IT Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Assist staff and clients with IT-related issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and monitoring of network performance.
- Installation and Configuration: Set up and configure computers, peripherals, and software for new and existing users.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and user support interactions.
- Training: Provide basic IT training to staff to enhance their understanding and use of technology resources.
- Security: Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures to protect data and systems from threats.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Google IT Support Professional Certificate, or relevant work experience.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
