Gather and Document Requirements: Work with stakeholders to collect, clarify, challenge, and document business and technical needs for financial solutions.
Design and Propose Solutions: Develop and recommend system enhancements or new solutions that address business challenges and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Coordinate with business teams, IT, testing, and external partners to ensure solutions are aligned and effectively implemented.
Support Implementation and Testing: Assist in deploying new systems or changes, including preparing test cases, validating results, and troubleshooting issues.
- Ensure Compliance and Best Practices: Monitor solutions to ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems.
- 5+ years of experience participating in the software development lifecycle on systems which directly support business initiatives, with architecture and integration components, in an international context.
- Previous knowledge of financial services industry.
- Previous experience of reinsurance, Insurance or Investment/AM Banking.
- A business-driven mindset with a strong appetite to understand functional context.
- Knowledge of agile and project management methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team and with various stakeholders in IT.
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Education
- BA/MD technical degree in information services management, computer science, applied mathematics or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
