A role you will love.
As an IT Site Support Apprentice, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance and monitoring of our end user equipment, peripherals, printers, and local site hardware. You’ll be designing and implementing creative solutions, working with IT peers, business users and vendors during implementations and ensuring adherence to security procedures.
Other key responsibilities:
Site Support Tasks
- Assist in the delivery of new joiner equipment and the setup of desk workstations
- Help with asset management, hardware and software issues
- Vendor follow-up support such as network cabling, printer issues, asset procurement, and delivery
- Regularly checking that IT-server room, meeting room and network printers are operational and functional
- Provide end user support to employees and help with debugging issues
Ticket Management Tasks
- Manage a global queue of ServiceNow tickets. These are raised by employees to request support with technology issues or challenges
- Assist vendor inquires for different office locations such as Chennai, Pune and Hyderabad
- Troubleshoot hardware, software-based desktop errors, Citrix VDI related issues and maintenance for the end-user and mobility iPhone Intune configuration
- Support escalation requests from employees and perform basic user administration tasks such as updating accounts and changing passwords in active directory
What will you bring to the role?
- Degree or diploma in Software Engineering, preferably in computer science or BCA/MCA
- The ability to resolve issues by troubleshooting, investigating and supporting individuals who have limited understanding of technical concepts
- The ability to review and ensure accuracy when it comes to the quality of work. With effective organizational skills, you'll maintain high standards of quality in everything you do
- You show a strong initiative to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- The ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Core fundamental knowledge of the following application and process functions
- Windows Operation systems and Office 365
- System Network concepts and troubleshooting
- Desktop, Laptop & Think Client Imaging

- Your working hours will be 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 1.30pm to 10.30pm
