Job Title: IT Project Manager I
Department: Security & Compliance
Reporting to: Chief Information & Security Officer
Location: Baltimore, MD. This is a hybrid role with 3-days per week required to be worked in the Baltimore, MD office.
Hours of work: Typical hours of work are from 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM local time Monday through Friday. Flexibility of Working Hours dependent on location. Additional hours may be necessary as needed. This position is exempt from overtime.
Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 annually.

Overview:
The IT Project Manager I supports the execution of security and compliance initiatives by coordinating projects, tracking progress, and helping ensure alignment across teams. This role works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain visibility into project status, identify risks, and support timely delivery of key initiatives.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their project management career who is looking to build technical and operational expertise in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Essential Functions:
Project Coordination & Tracking
- Support the coordination of cross-functional security and compliance initiatives
- Maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation within tools such as Atlassian JIRA and Service Desk
- Track and report on project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
Reporting & Analysis
- Monitor key project metrics such as backlog, throughput, and completion timelines
- Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports to support decision-making
- Escalate risks or blockers to senior team members as needed
Operational Support
- Assist in organizing project priorities and maintaining alignment across teams
- Support resource planning efforts and help track deliverables across multiple initiatives
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance team efficiency
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams to gather requirements and ensure clear communication
- Support meetings, document action items, and follow up on deliverables
Learning & Development
- Build knowledge of InVita’s products, security practices, and compliance requirements
- Develop program management skills with mentorship from senior team members
Additional Duties
- Provide support on initiatives such as MFA rollout, vulnerability remediation tracking, QA improvements, and incident response coordination
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
· 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, program support, or related roles
· Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall)
· Experience with tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Excel, or similar systems
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
· Interest in security and compliance (experience is a plus, not required)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Exposure to healthcare, SaaS, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI)
- Entry-level certifications (PMP, CSM, or working toward one)
