Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Provide IT infrastructure (including networks, servers, storage systems and data centres), PC & end user support.
- Provide IT support for all business units in Korea.
- L1/L2 end user coverage for standard desktop/user applications, desktop/mobile hardware troubleshooting and break fix, Zoom video conference support, user on/off-boarding arrangement, IP phone support, etc.
- Backup tape management, patch deployments, start of day system checks.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all IT hardware assets including servers, network equipment, PC & phones.
- Ensure security and compliance in the end user computing space.
- Maintain strong working relationships with vendors, exchange and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth information technology operations.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure teams in CLSA Pune, Hong Kong and other Asia regional IT.
- Participate in projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree holder preferred major in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Network Communication or a related IT field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant IT experience in infrastructure support within agencies or financial institutions, preferably in securities brokerage or investment bank Industries.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of IT platforms and system support in relevant areas across mobile and workspace, Windows desktop, network connectivity, voice technologies and data centre management.
- A strong end user focus and good attitude.
- Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
- Proven ability to work under pressure.
- Strong sense of accountability and responsibilities for owning issues through to resolution.
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to interact with vendors and users.
- Strong attention to details, proactive mindset and a good team player.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Korean.
