Summary
Join Fluid Codes’ technical team to support customers across
ANSYS software and IT systems. In this role, you will focus on installation,
configuration, deployment, including in HPC environments, enabling customers to
effectively run their simulation workflows. You will also contribute to
internal system administration, managing day-to-day IT operations, improving
efficiency, and applying technical expertise to maintain reliable and effective
IT systems for the team. You will use your expertise in ANSYS, HPC, and IT
systems to provide high-quality technical support, solve complex challenges,
and provide feedback to improve Ansys products and service quality
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Supports installation,
configuration, integration, and licensing of the ANSYS product portfolio for
customer and internal environments
· Performs diagnostics and troubleshooting for
customer issues related to HPC features and performance of ANSYS products in
Linux Environment
· Assists customers in running ANSYS workloads
on multi-core systems, HPC clusters, and virtual environments.
· Understands customer HPC
architectures and applies best practices to improve performance, scalability,
and reliability.
· Supports job schedulers,
parallel processing, MPI execution, and remote workflows.
· Develops custom scripts or extensions to adapt
ANSYS deployments to customer HPC environments.
· Applies advanced-level ANSYS software
configuration and troubleshooting techniques to deliver high-quality solutions.
· Collaborate with the
technical team to resolve complex technical problems and implement solutions
· Provides internal IT
support for Windows and Linux systems, including workstations, servers, and
application-related issues.
· Performs diagnostics and troubleshooting
across OS, hardware, networking, and application layers.
· Supports system stability, access, and
performance issues for internal users and customers.
· Delivers professional, customer-focused
support, ensuring timely resolution and high satisfaction.
· Adheres to support processes to ensure
consistent, high-quality service
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and
Experience
· BS or MS in Computer
Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
· BS+5 years of experience in ANSYS/HPC support,
IT systems administration, or technical software support roles.
· 2+ years of experience in
customer-facing technical support roles.
· Experience supporting Linux
and Windows-based systems, with understanding of software deployment, IT
operations, and network administration.
· Strong Linux expertise
supporting HPC environments and engineering applications
· Experience deploying and
administering ANSYS or similar CAD products in standalone, networked, or HPC
environments.
· Familiarity with
license-controlled software concepts, HPC systems, cluster computing, MPI and
job management systems (Grid Engine, LSF, PBS, Slurm)
· Experience with programming
or scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
· Experience with CRM tools
and structured support workflows.
· Exposure to cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP) and related automation tools
· Strong logical problem-solving, interpersonal,
and communication skills; fluent in English.
· Strong organizational and time-management
skills to handle multiple support activities effectively.
Skills Required
