Job Description

The IT Executive is responsible for providing reliable day-to-day technology support and assisting with the operation, maintenance, and security of IT systems within an exclusive luxury destination.

The role supports employees across all departments, ensures the smooth functioning of hardware, software, networks, communication systems, and business applications, and helps maintain a secure and efficient technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to employees across Security, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Recreation, Engineering, Finance, and other departments.
  • Respond to IT support requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve problems promptly.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and support computers, printers, mobile devices, telephones, scanners, and other technology equipment.
  • Support the organization’s networks, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, servers, systems, and user accounts.
  • Assist with the administration of email accounts, access permissions, shared drives, software applications, and communication platforms.
  • Support business-critical systems used for finance, procurement, inventory, reservations or bookings, point-of-sale operations, access control, security monitoring, and departmental administration, where applicable.
  • Coordinate with external IT service providers, suppliers, and technology partners when specialist assistance is required.
  • Monitor system performance, connectivity, backups, and equipment availability.
  • Assist with IT asset management, equipment inventories, software licensing, warranties, and replacement planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, equipment, user accounts, system changes, and completed work.
  • Assist with data backup, recovery, system updates, antivirus protection, and cybersecurity measures.
  • Support the implementation and enforcement of IT policies, acceptable-use guidelines, password standards, and data-protection procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive organizational, financial, employee, guest, and operational information.
  • Assist with user training, system demonstrations, and the preparation of basic IT guides and instructions.
  • Support new employee onboarding by preparing equipment, accounts, access, and system permissions.
  • Assist with technology installations, upgrades, projects, and improvements.
  • Escalate serious incidents, security threats, outages, and unresolved technical issues to the IT Manager.
  • Ensure all IT activities are completed professionally, securely, and with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
Desired Skill & Expertise
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in IT support, systems administration, helpdesk operations, or a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of computers, operating systems, networks, Wi-Fi, printers, user accounts, and common business applications.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, backups, and access management.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, ticketing systems, or comparable workplace technologies is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to explain technical matters clearly to users with different levels of technical knowledge.
  • Relevant IT certifications are an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to urgent technical issues when required.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Skills Required

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
