About Us

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.
Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.
2,100+ customers across 80+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $200M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI, Graceview, Cadastral, and Wexler.
We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.
Joining Legora means three things.

  • We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.

  • We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.

  • We grow together: as a team and with our customers.

Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.

If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.

The Role

We’re looking for an IT Engineering Lead to lead the team responsible for the technology foundations our employees rely on: identity, devices, corporate networks, and core SaaS platforms.
You’ll set the technical direction, hire and develop engineers, and stay close enough to the work to review designs, troubleshoot difficult problems, and make sound architecture decisions. Your job is to make our internal systems reliable, secure, and easier to operate as Legora grows.
You’ll partner with Workplace Technology on the employee experience, Security on technical controls, and business systems owners on integrations and shared infrastructure.

What You'll Own
  • Engineering strategy and delivery. Build a roadmap grounded in employee needs, operational risk, and company growth. Make clear decisions about priorities, architecture, investment, and technical debt.

  • Identity and access infrastructure. Own the engineering behind authentication, provisioning, device trust, and access lifecycle automation. Make onboarding, role changes, and offboarding dependable, with clear approval boundaries and auditable outcomes.

  • Endpoint engineering. Build and operate device management, configuration, software deployment, patching, and compliance capabilities. Know which devices are covered, where controls fail, and how to recover safely.

  • Corporate networks. Own the architecture and reliability of office connectivity, including Wi-Fi, switching, WAN, and remote access. Partner with Workplace teams on office openings and changes.

  • Core SaaS platforms and integrations. Establish technical standards for administration, configuration, integration, and recovery. Work with business systems owners to define responsibility and reduce fragile dependencies.

  • Automation and internal tooling. Replace recurring manual work with maintained services and workflows. Use APIs, version control, testing, and configuration as code where they improve reliability. Apply AI where it produces measurable benefits with appropriate access controls and human oversight.

  • Operational reliability. Establish useful monitoring, service ownership, incident response, and change practices. Investigate recurring failures and verify that fixes improve the employee experience.

  • Team leadership. Hire and coach engineers, set clear expectations, and build a team that documents its systems, challenges design decisions, and follows work through to a verified outcome.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience leading IT engineering, corporate engineering, or a comparable internal platform team through significant growth.

  • Strong technical depth across identity, endpoint management, SaaS administration, and corporate networking, with the judgment to bring in specialists where needed.

  • A record of delivering automation and integrations that remain reliable after launch.

  • Practical software engineering skills, including scripting or programming, APIs, version control, code review, and testing.

  • Experience operating services through incidents, migrations, and changes where employee productivity and security matter.

  • The ability to translate security requirements into effective technical controls and demonstrate that those controls work.

  • Experience hiring, developing, and managing engineers while remaining a credible technical leader.

  • Clear communication and sound prioritization. You can explain a tradeoff, name an owner, and define what success looks like.

What Success Looks Like

Employees have dependable access to the tools they need. Devices and networks are managed consistently, with visible exceptions and accountable owners. Routine lifecycle changes happen accurately with less manual intervention.
The team spends less time resolving repeat failures and more time improving the underlying systems. Major changes have tested recovery paths, and service performance is measured through actual employee outcomes.
You build an engineering team with clear ownership, a credible roadmap, and the ability to support Legora’s growth without a matching increase in operational overhead.
