Job Description:
The Cloud and Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s core infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and AWS environments. The role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of cloud and identity platforms while supporting daily operational and system administration tasks.
To succeed in this position, candidates should have at least three years of experience in system administration or a similar role. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Technical expertise in network management, system security, and a variety of operating systems is required. Problem-solving abilities and customer service skills are also important for this role, and relevant certifications will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Incident management – troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
- Perform Change management – plan and implement changes.
- Support the IT aspects of employee on- and off-boarding processes.
- Follow up on ticket requests and escalate as needed.
- Administer and maintain Azure server environments including VM provisioning, monitoring, patching, and performance optimization.
- Manage and support Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD), including user lifecycle management, group policies, and identity governance.
- Administer AWS accounts and cloud resources, ensuring secure configuration, access control, and cost monitoring.
- Monitor system health, availability, and security across cloud and on‑premise infrastructure.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation across servers and services.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes for critical systems.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, authentication, networking, and cloud service issues.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code tools where applicable.

- Understanding networking concepts including DNS, VPN, and firewalls.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
