Job Summary:The Decision Modeler Consultant I assists in analyzing requirements and requests of the business, operations, and other users of IT services in the creation of a Decision Model. A decision model is a clear and unambiguous way to describe operations business decisions by decomposing a complex decision into a tree of simpler decisions.
Serves as the contact for the business divisions and technology solution providers for all aspects of solution identification.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participates in information sessions to provide expertise in a focused area of the business by analyzing data and leveraging business knowledge to create or contribute to functional designs
• Uses appropriate tools and techniques to elicit and define requirements.
• Participants in and observes project initiation or planning for projects.
• Construct and maintain decision models which accurately capture the rules for the decision that make up specific product offerings.
• Validate the accuracy of decision models both by adhering to design tenants of decision modeling and by constructing the test cases necessary to compare returned results with expected results.
• Executes change control process to alter base-line deliverables and scope for projects; escalates requests for deviations from process when necessary
• Collaborates with partners in test plan reviews to ensure plans address the testing of defined functional requirements; supports data analysis and validation from functional tests
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job does not have supervisory duties

• 2 or more years of related experience preferred
