IT-Applications Manager (Netherlands & Belgium)
We are looking for an IT-Applications Manager, who would be the main point of contact for all application within our Netherlands & Belgium business. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of all IT Applications and ensure efficient business operations and support our strategic objectives. You will provide leadership and guidance in fostering a cohesive and high-performing team environment, besides bringing in organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and IT suppliers.
Your main tasks are:
- Manage the team of experts of 5 fte, as well as external consultants.
- Oversee the management of all IT systems & solutions consisting of SAP S/4 HANA, e-Commerce systems, Salesforce, Tableau and integrations with 3rd party.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the IT Competence Center aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Ensure successful project execution, meeting timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Facilitate regular communication with business leaders to provide updates on project status, system performance, and upcoming initiatives.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables, while managing expectations and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements to maximize the functionality of SAP applications.
- Monitor and manage the performance, availability, and stability of SAP systems and other applications.
- Proactively identify and address system issues, bottlenecks, and vulnerabilities to maintain a robust and secure SAP environment
- Provide oversight and guidance for the SAP support team to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are followed, and documentation related to configurations, processes, and procedures are maintained.
- Ensure that SAP systems comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Your will team will be supported by a separate infrastructure team Europe, also based in the Netherlands.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business management or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge in one or more areas of SAP S/4 HANA modules such as SD, MM, FICO or EWM or deep expertise in ABAP / Basis i
- Experience in wholesale distribution, eCommerce &/or pharmaceutical domains is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical, solution-oriented & result driven personality with the ability to see the bigger picture and have a sharp eye for detail.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Knowledge on project management tools
