If you are an Information Technology professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! In this role, you will support the Engineering Labs by developing enhancements to the engineering lab system that improve the user experience and employee efficiency, increase system adoption, and assist the labs in going paperless.
Responsibilities:
Support the ELT (Engineering Lab Test) System analysis, design, and development
Serve as an Engineering Lab Test System (ELT) Admin and provide day-to-day maintenance and support for the system
Document lab processes and the ELT system alignment
Define requirements for new system features and translate those features to the ELT System development requirements
Create lab system end-user training material
Lead training on how to use the system and manage communication of new feature deployment
Align with Lab System priorities and manage the execution of assigned work
Develop, Test, and Deploy Lab System enhancements to ensure they fulfill the Lab Process Requirements
Provide support for the Lab System integrations with tools for reporting and metrics
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Experience with:
Microsoft SQL Server
.NET Framework, particularly C#, VB.Net and ASP.Net
Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Team Foundation Server
Proficiency in writing SQL stored procedures and queries.
Proactive in anticipating customer needs and exceeding expectations
Decisive and adaptive in fast-changing, unpredictable situations
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Eager to learn from experts and stay ahead of emerging technology trends
Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and building inter-team relationships
Preferred Education & Experience
3 to 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
Experience with barcode printers (e.g., Zebra, Printronix, SATO) and scanners is a plus.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Proficient in .NET, C#, and MSSQL
Knowledge of .NET MVC framework
Awareness of software security best practices
