The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certinia Administrator to join our team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation and ongoing optimization of our Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) applications on the Salesforce platform.  As the Certinia Administrator, you will partner with finance, operations, and IT teams to maintain system performance, streamline business processes, and enable better decision-making through accurate data and reporting.

Travel Requirements:

This is a remote role based in the Continental US.  Associated travel will be 5%.

Responsibilities Include:

• System Administration: Manage user access, roles, profiles, and permissions while ensuring platform stability and security.
• Certinia Configuration: Support and maintain modules such as PSA, ERP, Accounting, and Revenue Management; configure page layouts, workflows, and approval processes.
• Data Management: Maintain data integrity, perform imports/exports, and conduct routine audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and enhance workflows to support project, financial, and operational needs.
• Reporting & Insights: Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to enable leadership to make data-driven decisions.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Salesforce and Certinia updates, recommend process improvements, and coordinate with developers or consultants for customizations and integrations.
• Training & Support: Provide user support, develop documentation, and deliver training to ensure adoption and effective use of Certinia tools.

Required Skills and Professional Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce or Certinia (FinancialForce) Administrator.
• Exposure to finance, accounting, or professional services industries is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform administration.
• Experience with Certinia ERP and/or PSA modules.
• Proficiency in creating reports, dashboards, workflows, and approval processes.
• Experience with project accounting, billing, or revenue management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.       Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Desired Skills and Professional Experience:  

• Salesforce Certified Administrator.
• Certinia PSA or ERP certification (preferred).
