IP NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer, responsible for providing IP/MPLS network configuration, integration, migration and maintenance services for Nokia's IP Routing product suites
ResponsibilitiesWhat you will learn and contribute to
- IP NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer, responsible for providing IP/MPLS network configuration, integration, migration and maintenance services for Nokia's IP Routing product suites
- Lead and execute complex deployment and integration projects in the relevant domain
- Provide technical support including troubleshooting and on-call services
- Contribute to presales activities, including leading PoC (Proof of Concept) & trials
- Participate or lead network design activities
- Supporting mainly local customer in the Israeli market
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Experience delivering professional services including network engineering, implementation, testing and customer support (remote and onsite if required)
- Strong knowledge of IP Networking. Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP), signaling protocols (RSVP-TE, LDP), Segment Routing, QoS, IP VPN, VPLS, EVPN, BNG, NAT, Seamless MPLS, IPSec
- Hands-on experience including building, deploying, troubleshooting & fault-finding
- Advantage - specific knowledge of Nokia solutions and products (e.g. 7750, 7250, 7210, 7705)
- Advantage - other vendors router expertise (e.g. Cisco/Juniper product lines)
- Advanced IP/MPLS training/certifications (Nokia NRS-II / SRA, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE)
- Preferred experience - Linux knowledge, scripting capabilities (Python, Ansible), RESTful API integration
