IoT Solutions Engineer | TELEMATICS

We are looking for a IoT Solutions Engineer to join our growing international team in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this role, you will help customers successfully implement Teltonika’s IoT solutions while supporting technical integration and product deployment.

 Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and manufactures GPS tracking devices used for fleet management in logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and many other industries.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical guidance to employees and customers on Teltonika devices and solutions
  • Support product integration and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Prepare technical documentation and solution proposals
  • Participate in technical discussions with customers through calls and visits
  • Conduct product training sessions for internal teams and customers
  • Collaborate with R&D, QA, production, and supply chain teams
  • Test and validate solutions before customer deployment

Requirements

What we expect of you:

  • Technical degree in telecommunications, electronics, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in a technical role related to solutions engineering, technical support, or pre-sales engineering.
  • Prior experience in the telematics, IoT, system integration, or related technology industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies such as GNSS, GPRS, Bluetooth, and cloud systems.
  • Good knowledge of serial communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, Modbus, and CAN-BUS.
  • Experience or understanding of reverse engineering will be a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, Jira, and ticketing systems.
  • Professional English communication skills.
