Job Summary
The Investment Manager leads financial evaluation, structuring, and execution of renewable energy investments, including greenfield development, acquisitions, and partnership transactions. This role partners closely with Development, Finance, and Executive Leadership to support capital deployment strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead financial modeling and valuation of development and acquisition opportunities.
• Conduct project-level and portfolio-level investment analysis.
• Support tax equity, debt financing, and capital structuring efforts.
• Manage transaction diligence, including coordination with legal, technical, and environmental advisors.
• Prepare investment committee memoranda and executive presentations.
• Monitor portfolio performance and return metrics.
• Track market trends and capital markets conditions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5–8+ years in renewable energy finance, private equity, project finance, or investment banking.
• Advanced financial modeling skills.
• Experience with tax equity and project finance structures preferred.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Interfaces with customers, vendors, and the public. All employees, including Senior and Executive Management, Sales & Finance.
