What You Will Achieve
As an entry-level team member, you will support the Inventory COE by executing core accounting tasks, maintaining data integrity, and contributing to process improvements. You'll work closely with senior accountants and team leads to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
You will:
- Analyze inventory and cost accounts under supervision.
- Monitor and maintain SKU master data.
- Assist with intercompany accruals and reconciliations.
- Support F2C processes and BSA commentary for inventory accounts.
- Collaborate across departments and geographies to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
How You Will Achieve It
- Organize and prioritize your workload with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and ensure compliance with US GAAP and local accounting standards.
- Maintain accurate Work Instructions, Job Aids, and Desktop Procedures.
- Support Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and internal control requirements.
- Identify issues and improvement opportunities and escalate appropriately.
- Participate in month-end close activities and assist with audit requests.
- Demonstrate business acumen in interactions with internal stakeholders and customers.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in progress in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- English level: B1 or higher.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in a fast-paced multinational or Shared Services environment.
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
