About this opportunity:
The Ericsson Taiwan and Hong Kong Supply team (GSU MNEA Taiwan & HK Supply) is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic International Trade & Import/Export Summer Intern. During this 8-week internship from July 6th to August 31st (adjustable), you will join us to support daily import/export and order management operations, ensuring our quarterly hardware and software delivery projects run smoothly.
No prior corporate experience? No worries! We will assign 2-3 dedicated team members to mentor you, guiding you step-by-step through international trade and end-to-end supply chain processes within a global enterprise. This hands-on experience will provide a solid, competitive foundation for your future career after graduation.
What you will do:
- Import/Export & Logistics Assistance: Participate in related import/export activities, helping manage material availability verification and pre-shipment preparations.
- Transport Coordination & Optimization: Assist in ensuring outbound packaging and timelines align with project requirements, and help the team plan cost-effective transportation and customs clearance models.
- Daily Operation Support: Assist the team in handling routine supply chain and international trade workflows to maintain efficient daily operations.
- Order Monitoring & Tracking: Help register and verify customer order details, monitoring and tracking progress to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all items.
The skills you bring:
- Education: Current Master's student from local or overseas universities. Major in International Trade, Import/Export Operations, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related business administration fields is highly preferred.
- Core Attributes (Essential): A high willingness to learn and an open attitude. You should be careful, patient, and detail-oriented when handling data and daily operational tasks.
- English Proficiency: TOEIC score of 800 or above.
Skills to be Acquired (What we will teach you):
- Cross-border end-to-end (E2E) supply chain and import/export practical processes.
- Hands-on experience in transport optimization and delivery preparation.
- Basic order creation, planning, and routine monitoring.
