The Analyst will be based in Europe and will support the UK payroll as well as other countries in Europe/APAC.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Analyst will deliver exceptional customer service to business groups and process monthly and/or biweekly payrolls for salary and hourly employees.
Accountabilities:
- Support the international payroll team with daily tasks and year-end activities, such as balancing reports, communicating with vendors, submitting input requests, and supporting with ad hoc seasonal demands
- Perform payroll transactions such as data entry, mass uploads, time system inquiries, and payroll processing jobs
- Review, analyze, and reconcile payroll and other payroll related data according to established timelines, standards, and procedures and calculate retroactive data as required.
- Handle complex and/or sensitive payroll requests and issues by providing exceptional customer service to both the customer and its employees
- Ensuring the employees are receiving their payments on schedule by working to the tight deadlines and effectively managing your time to meet SLA’s
- Using great attention to detail identifying any payment or data errors
- Manipulation and validation of incoming data
- Escalate issues as appropriate to ensure quality service levels.
- Manage and support the day-to-day payroll processes, organize, and submit payroll entries to ensure error-free processing aligned to statutory compliance and internal policies
- Processing year end tasks
- Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of payroll processing
- Participate in and support departmental initiatives.
- Seek feedback, continuously learn, and take advantage of opportunities to improve knowledge, skill, and experience.
- Assist others where possible for the good of the team and department.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Compliance / HMRC legislation
- CIPP qualified to at least level 3 (Foundation Degree Access Course)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll and/or pension experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills. Proven to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Working knowledge of Workday, Ceridian (Dayforce) / SDWorx
- A sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution and an ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines is required.
