Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our large flagship branch in Darra.
This is a great opportunity to become part of a trusted local business while building your career with a global leader. In this role, you’ll be an important point of contact for customers, providing responsive service, processing orders, managing quotes and supporting sales growth across the branch.
You’ll work closely with customers, suppliers and branch team members to deliver a seamless experience and help keep business moving in a busy branch.
Some Saturday morning shifts from 7am-11am will be required (one per fortnight) and will be compensated with overtime rates .
A typical day will involve
- Taking ownership of customer orders and incoming sales calls
- Preparing quotes and managing customer follow-up
- Supporting sales growth by building and maintaining customer accounts
- Providing outstanding customer service to a wide range of trade and industry customers
- Managing customer projects and ensuring timely order processing
- Liaising with suppliers and assisting with purchasing
- Working collaboratively with the branch team to support overall business performance
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised, and thrives in a fast-paced customer service and sales environment.
You will ideally have:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Good attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence using systems and learning new processes
- Sales, administration, retail, trade counter or wholesale experience highly regarded
- Experience in electrical wholesale, trades or building products advantageous, but not essential
