Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our Port Hedland branch team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, high-impact branch and play an important role in supporting customers across the electrical industry. You’ll be part of a close-knit team, providing responsive service, processing orders, managing quotes and helping drive customer satisfaction and sales growth.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys customer interaction, problem solving and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
A typical day will involve
- Taking ownership of customer orders and incoming sales calls
- Preparing quotes and following up customer enquiries
- Supporting sales growth by building and maintaining customer accounts
- Providing excellent customer service to trade and industry customers
- Managing customer projects and ensuring timely processing of orders
- Liaising with suppliers and assisting with purchasing
- Working closely with the branch team to deliver great outcomes for customers
A bit about you
You’re someone who enjoys building relationships, helping customers and being part of a team that gets things done. You’re organised, adaptable and motivated to learn, with a genuine interest in developing your skills in sales and customer service.
You will ideally have:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities
- Strong skills in MS Excel
- Sound working knowledge of purchasing or supply systems, highly desirable
- Experience in electrical wholesaling, trades or building/construction industries highly regarded, though full product training will be provided
- Experience with Pronto, highly desired
- A current valid Australian driver’s licence
