Purpose:
Join Athene as an Internal Sales Specialist, where you'll serve as a trusted resource for financial professionals by providing product expertise, sales support, and responsive service that helps grow our annuity business. You'll play an important role in delivering a seamless advisor experience while partnering closely with Internal Wholesalers and cross-functional teams to drive sales opportunities and strengthen distributor relationships.Accountabilities:
Provide exceptional phone support to financial professionals by answering product, sales, and service inquiries while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Generate accurate annuity product illustrations, fulfill marketing material requests, and support advisors with product education and sales solutions.
Partner with Internal Wholesalers, Service Liaisons, and business partners to resolve service issues, identify sales opportunities, and ensure timely follow-up.
Maintain strong knowledge of Athene products, industry trends, and technology tools while leveraging CRM systems, AI-enabled resources, and digital tools to improve efficiency and advisor support.
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance sales culture by demonstrating adaptability, critical thinking, continuous learning, and a bias for action.
Qualifications and Experience:
1+ years of financial services sales experience or relevant experience; annuity product experience strongly preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain financial products, processes, and concepts to a diverse advisor base while building trusted relationships.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with annuity illustration software, CRM platforms, and AI-enabled productivity tools preferred.
Demonstrated organization, problem-solving, adaptability, and customer-focused mindset in a fast-paced environment.
Progress toward or completion of industry education or certifications (such as LIMRA or LOMA) preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work or military experience will also be considered.
