As an Internal Recruiter at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for providing consultation and counseling to hiring managers and internal Team Members. You will clarify recruiting best practices and constraints to hiring managers and ensure that applicants understand the details around compensation, interviews, and offers. You will be responsible for understanding the hiring manager's headcount needs and making sure there is alignment between headcount priorities for the department and the business needs and participate extensively in the screening and interviewing process of candidates.
You will be responsible for hiring team members by maintaining data in recruiting systems, extending and negotiating offers, initiating onboarding, and finalizing the hiring process. Additional responsibilities include participating in or leading recruiting projects that support the company's involvement in ramps, etc. while focusing on continuous improvement of recruiting processes.
Position must be located in Boise, Idaho to support local Internal Recruiting efforts.
Specific job responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Process internal transfers and promotions- both domestic and international inbound to the U.S.
  • Ensure compliance and Internal guidelines are met and upheld
  • Collaborate with multiple departments including Compensation, Immigration, Human Resources on offers and the Internal Process
  • Build a strong rapport with hiring leaders and internal stakeholders
  • Provide excellent communication with internal candidates and hiring manager to provide an outstanding candidate experience
  • Ability to support recruiting for all U.S. locations and all departments
  • Ensure approval loops are completed and extend offers to candidates
  • Be responsible for screening, interview scheduling, and finalizing the hiring process
  • Work within several recruiting systems including Workday, Eightfold, and Textio

Successful candidates for this position will:
  • Be driven, upbeat, and a motivated professional with 2-3 years related experience
  • Have Human Resources or Talent Acquisition experience
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and drive multiple requisitions
  • Have excellent customer focus and ability to engage and influence partners
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence, and have effective cross-team collaboration skills
  • Be proficient in MS Office and ATS systems
  • Have a high attention to detail

Education and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business or a related field of study
  • A combination of experience and education (without a degree) will also be considered
