If you’re a people-person who loves turning conversations into long‑term partnerships, this could be the perfect next step in your sales career. We’re looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to support and grow a portfolio of customers, supplying them with our trusted range of professional cleaning chemicals and cleaning machinery.

You’ll be the voice of our business — building relationships, spotting opportunities, and delivering exceptional service. Most interactions will be via phone and email, with occasional face‑to‑face meetings to strengthen key customer relationships.

Please note: Candidates must live within commuting distance of Northampton and hold a full UK driving license.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Proactive customer outreach — Engage your accounts to promote our cleaning chemicals and machinery, driving growth across your portfolio.
  • Relationship building — Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at both site and head‑office level.
  • Account planning — Use sales data to create tailored business plans and identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Solution selling — Understand customer needs and recommend the right cleaning products and machinery to add value.
  • Team collaboration — Work closely with Regional Sales to support product trials, demonstrations, and on‑site service.
  • Campaign execution — Partner with Marketing on targeted campaigns to promote key product ranges.
  • Customer care — Communicate proactively about stock issues or delays and offer suitable alternatives.
  • Complaint resolution — Record, manage, and resolve customer concerns to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Price updates — Confidently communicate and implement annual price increases.
  • Occasional site visits — Meet customers in person to strengthen relationships and support key initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

  • B2B inside sales experience — Proven success managing and growing customer accounts.
  • Relationship‑building skills — Comfortable engaging customers at all levels via phone and email.
  • Strong communication — Clear, confident verbal and written communication.
  • Excel basics — Able to work with spreadsheets and simple data sets.
  • Financial awareness — Confident analysing sales reports and spotting trends.
  • Full UK driving license — Essential for occasional customer visits.
  • Local proximity — You must live within commuting distance of Northampton.
