DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

The Internal Account Manager is responsible for delivering high-quality operational and partner support within the cybersecurity distribution business. This role serves as a key liaison between channel partners and internal teams, ensuring the efficient management of partner inquiries, quotations, order processing, and post-order support. The position requires strict adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs), accuracy in transactional execution, and comprehensive documentation within the company’s CRM system.

This role will report to Regional Manager

As the Internal Account Manager, you will:

  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned channel partners, ensuring professional, timely, and consistent communication.

  • Respond to partner inquiries in accordance with the established two-hour SLA, maintaining service excellence standards.

  • Prepare, validate, and issue accurate pricing quotations in alignment with approved commercial frameworks and internal processes.

  • Manage order placement activities, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.

  • Provide proactive and timely updates to partners regarding order status, stock availability, and estimated delivery timelines.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system, including partner opportunities, activities, and pipeline status.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

The ideal Internal Account Manager:

  • Matric

  • 2+ years of experience in account management, sales support, or a similar role.

  • Experience in IT distribution, channel sales, or vendor management is advantageous.

  • Familiarity with Cyber Security Vendor products and processes

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across quotations, orders, and system records.
