Brown & Brown is seeking an Intern to join our growing team in Plano, TX.
The Brown & Brown Internship is a temporary position to provide college students with an introduction to Brown & Brown and the brokerage business.
How You Will Contribute:

Introduction to Insurance through online and webinar training.

Work with department adviser to train, get work assignments, ask questions, etc.

Interns will be included in such activities as marketing, policy review, client renewal presentations and onsite client meetings.

Interns will be placed in small groups to work on a summer project. At the end of the summer, each group will present their project to the Sr. Leaders of the company.

Other clerical duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

Successful candidates have shown balanced success in both academic and extracurricular activities.

Finance & Risk Management degree required.

GPA requirement is a minimum of 3.2 and involvement in combination of sports, student government, college clubs, or community service. Leadership activity in these events is a plus.

Work experience. (Preferred)

Strong to excellent communication skills are required.
