Intern - Test-result analysis tool development - Tampere

You will participate in the development of test result analysis tools. The developed tools enable the team to analyze the behavior of positioning client software and help in detecting exceptional events, improvement ideas, and bugs. The test results are presented in different ways, including text, numbers, and visual aids. For example, test and reference tracks are presented visually on top of a map. One of the goals is to incorporate AI-assisted methods in the design and implementation work. The overall goal is to boost the development and testing of positioning client software.

As part of our skilled and supportive team, you will learn about topics such as:

• Software development and testing.
• Applying AI-assisted methods in software development.
• Test result analysis.

• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or you have already graduated and want to start working in the positioning domain.
• You can work locally in HERE's Tampere office.
• You have experience in some programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
• You are eager to learn, open-minded, and able to work in English.

 Nice-to-Have Skills:

• You have used version control systems like Git.
• You are familiar with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with positioning technologies (e.g., GNSS, radio, inertial, or vision-based navigation).
