Own the follow-up, visibility, and execution of international inbound parts flow – keeping plant production moving and preventing downtime. In this role, you’ll partner directly with Assembly and Manufacturing teams, suppliers, carriers, and 3PL’s to anticipate risk, close gaps to forecast, and drive fast recoveries when disruptions occur. You’ll also monitor coverage of production plans, support new logistics lane set ups, and work to ensure every shipment plan is built for on-time, in-full performance.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Execute end-to-end supply chain functions to support uninterrupted plant operations, including demand/forecast monitoring, material availability, inbound logistics execution, and issue resolution
- Identify and monitor coverage risks early using Stellantis tools (including 90 day coverage reporting) to assess critical parts
- Work cross-functionally across internal organizations (Plant Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, Supplier Quality, ICT, Finance, Material & Logistics Management) and external partners (3PLs, carriers, and suppliers) to align plans, priorities, and escalation paths
- Support new logistics lane set-ups and ensure lane readiness
- Validate and reconcile logistics costs and exceptions (e.g., detention, claims, proof of delivery) in collaboration with Finance and logistics partners
- Manage supplier communication and performance, including follow-up on critical parts, expedite requests, recovery actions, and reporting to stakeholders and leadership as needed
- Develop, maintain, and execute ship plans (inbound shipment schedules) to meet production requirements; coordinate routings, confirm readiness, track in-transit shipments, and mitigate delays through proactive problem solving
- Support carrier claim activities & Proof of Delivery validations
- Work directly with 3PL and support escalations as required
- Request expedites for plant and track the approvals needed
- Attend and support supplier/3PL meetings and support escalation to Import Analyst when needed
- Travel 0-20% to support plant operations in US, CA, and MX
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Related Field
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Supply Chain Management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Plant Manufacturing or Material Logistics Management experience
- Experience in Production Control area/plant functions
- Significant understanding of Logistics
- Knowledge of Racks/Containers
- Familiar with the parts of a vehicle, good understanding of a Vehicle Bill of Material
