Role Responsibilities

 

As an Insurance Advisor Trainee, you will be responsible for:

 
  • Generating new business through warm and cold leads, referrals, and local outreach

  • Consulting with clients to understand their needs and recommending customized insurance plans

  • Selling and cross-selling a variety of products, including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial Insurance

  • Maintaining a robust pipeline of prospects and following up consistently

  • Achieving individual and team sales targets to support agency success

  • Providing excellent customer service and building lasting client relationships

  • Documenting all activity in the agency CRM system and maintaining accurate records

  • Staying informed on new products, underwriting guidelines, and industry changes

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or insurance (preferred)

  • Excellent communication and closing skills

  • Confidence in conducting outbound calls and both virtual and in-person consultations

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Active Property & Casualty or Life & Health License (preferred) or willingness to obtain
