About your role
This position is responsible for contributing to our Institutional business (financial institutions business) development and relationship management efforts. Accordingly he/she will work closely with the stakeholders across “Fidelity” in support of a number of assigned clients/prospects, responding to ad hoc inquiries, undertaking market research, and preparing for client meetings.

Key Responsibilities

This position has frequent interaction with Institutional clients will be expected to conduct analysis, initiate research, and respond to inquiries on a wide range of topics.

Incorporating product knowledge with firm awareness, he/she will be required to effectively communicate client expectations with a variety of internal constituents including:  investment administration, legal and compliance, portfolio management, product management, client administration, trading and other functions.

About you

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Minimum 5 years of professional Sales experience, with strong investment (including derivatives and alternative investments) and capital market knowledge
  • Investment experience as a portfolio manager at asset manager, bank (balancesheet money investment) and/or insurance company (general and/or separate accounts) would be preferable
  • Previous, direct experience developing as well as maintaining long lasting relationships with top tier institutional-financial institution clients such as Mega Banks and insurers will also be viewed positively.
  • Native Japanese speaker and strong verbal and English skills are required
  • Sound business judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to express oneself in both individual and group settings are a must.  Likewise, the ability to communicate in a creative manner is a required skill set. 
  • Passionate for financial institution business development, relationship management and investments.
  • Desire to work in a team-based and collaborative environment.
