The Insides Sales Representative will be responsible for growing the company’s cannabis business by building successful, long-term client relationships through satisfying customer’s needs and requests for Holistic products in conjunction with the Outside Sales Team.


Duties include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.


  • Work with the Outside Sales Team to develop positive relationships with customers and distributors and seek unique and creative ways to promote company’s brands
  • Act as the customers’ primary point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
  • Co-manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Upsell Holistic products when talking to customers and taking orders over the phone.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Track and report on customer preferences, and provide feedback and data to Marketing and Sales regarding customer requests
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Report regularly, and as requested, on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Raise awareness of company’s brands in the marketplace by using marketing tools, attending promotional and industry events, and providing training to dispensary staff
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the industry, company and its products

General

  • Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain medical marijuana work credentials – applicable marijuana licensing regulations may disqualify individuals with certain criminal convictions.

Education/Experience:

  • At least 3 years of sales or related customer focused experience
  • Cannabis industry experience is strongly preferred

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications and negotiations skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Experience with CSR software
  • Ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, ability to initiate and follow through on work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work a nontraditional schedule as needed, including evening and weekend work
