Purpose:
At DASI, the Inside Sales Representative for the EMEA region is responsible for generating sales leads, qualifying prospects, and closing deals for DASI’s products and services within the designated EMEA territory. This role involves proactive outreach to potential customers through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings, to understand their needs, provide product information, and offer solutions tailored to their requirements. The Inside Sales Representative works closely with the sales team, marketing, and other departments to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets in the EMEA aviation market.
Key accountabilities:
- Proactively identify and qualify sales leads within the EMEA territory through market research, prospecting activities, and inbound inquiries, utilizing CRM tools and databases to manage lead pipeline effectively.
- Conduct outbound sales activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling, to engage with prospective customers, introduce aviation products and services, and schedule follow-up meetings or demos.
- Understand customer needs, challenges, and pain points related to DASI’s operations, maintenance, and services, and position relevant products and solutions to address their requirements effectively.
- Develop a deep understanding of DASI’s products, services, and solutions offered by the organization, including aircraft components, parts, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), and aftermarket services, to articulate value propositions and benefits to customers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to prospects, showcasing the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of DASI’s products and services, and addressing customer objections or concerns.
- Build and nurture relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders in the EMEA region, maintaining regular communication and providing ongoing support to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage and update sales pipeline, opportunities, and activities in CRM systems, tracking progress, forecasting revenue, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads and sales opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Work closely with the sales team, marketing, product management, and other departments to align sales strategies, campaigns, and initiatives, share market insights, and coordinate efforts to drive revenue growth in the EMEA market.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, customer preferences, and regulatory developments affecting the aviation market in the EMEA region and incorporate market intelligence into sales strategies and approaches.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training, workshops, and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of industry best practices, sales techniques, and product innovations in the aviation sector.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, build rapport, and close sales deals remotely.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive and persistent approach to overcoming challenges and achieving sales objectives.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages spoken in the EMEA region is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, conferences, and industry events within the EMEA region as needed.
Experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in inside sales, business development, or related roles, preferably in the aviation industry or B2B sales environment.
- Demonstrated track record of success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth through proactive sales activities and lead generation efforts.
Skills Required

- At least 3 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or related roles.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales targets and driving revenue through proactive sales and lead generation.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Additional EMEA-region language proficiency.
- Experience in aviation or a B2B sales environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the EMEA region.
