About The Job

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling Alfa Laval products and services within the Ocean Division. You will be providing direct support to customers, including complex quotations and advance technical support.

Job Description

  • Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Products and services.
  • Investigate and identify parts/products needed by customer.
  • Create and actively follow up transactional quotes.
  • Proactive looking for upselling opportunities.
  • Actively follow up the quote in order to understand if the proposed value is understood and if it is matching the customer needs.
  • Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions.

What You Know

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Degree in Marine Engineering a plus.
  • Marine equipment and technical background a plus. (aftersales, spare parts & service)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent team player and ability to collaborate well with different stakeholders.
  • High customer service orientation.
  • Has worked in company with international setting, and has worked with a matrix organization.
  • Self-motivated team player with positive attitude and drive to excel
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
